Group of Companies Aerofuels acquired the second oil depot in the Tomsk area and recently it has received the certificate of ownership. The depot is situated in the vicinity of the fuel and lubricant depot having been acquired in 2011. Aerofuels Group is planning to build one of the largest oil depots in the Tomsk area. In the result of both facilities uniting the depot capacity will make 20 thousand m³. The amount of expected investments into the terminal is 270 mln rubles during next 3 years.
“We think that creation of the largest transfer terminal in the Tomsk area to support, first of all, oil products export from the region will make it possible for local companies to cut costs in logistics and to enter the national and international market by arranging heavy and light oil products supply by railway”, - said Yury Popov, TZK Aerofuels General Director. “Besides, such facility operation will provide extra qualified workplaces and tax payment to the area budget”, - he added.
It is to be recalled that Aerofuels has already acquired a large oil depot in the Tomsk area near the airport and Bogashevo settlement. To maintain it TZK Tomsk LLC was founded in the same year. In 2012 all necessary licenses and certificates were received, and oil products storage and transfer started. Since ownership achievement approximately 120 mln rubles have been invested into the depot upgrading and maintenance, and this year investments amount shall make 45 mln rubles within the frameworks of the technical re-equipment.
“Having studied the Tomsk area market and demands in such types of services, we came to a conclusion that the region possesses high potential in oil products output and supply and it needs to get a large transfer point adjoining the railroad. The similar nearest transfer point is located in the Novosibirsk region”, - said Sergey Ozerov, TZK Tomsk Director.
Since 1999 Group of Companies Aerofuels has been engaged in upgrading and construction of new refuelling complexes satisfying modern requirements of the Russian and international civil aviation associations. Group of Companies Aerofuels invested about 4.5 billion rubles into TZK construction in Russia. Since 2010 the company has been engaged in light oil products transfer and storage, diesel fuel and benzenes, in particular, in Tomsk, Ulyanovsk, Kursk and Kirov, and since the second quarter of 2014 – in Nizhny Novgorod.
